Engineer - Analog Video  (Sunnyvale, CA)

As a member of an ASIC design team, engineer will be responsible for evaluating, measuring, and trouble shooting analog video performance of HDTV ICs in the system environment, contribute to design of digital signal processing and control associated with analog video sub-system, and emulation (prototyping) of analog video sub-systems combining both analog and digital blocks.

Successful applicant will have experience working with analog video at the system level, including ASIC, board, and software interaction. The work involves working closely with architecture, analog design, and IC design teams towards continuing improvement of analog video quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  •  5-7 years experience
  •  BS in EE or equivalent field
  •  Knowledge of analog video systems and standards
  •  Knowledge of quality metrics for analog conversion systems
  •  Laboratory experience evaluating, measuring, and trouble shooting analog video systems

    Strongly Desired Skills & Experience

  •  MS in EE or equivalent field
  •  Experience setting up lab automation (i.e. GPIB, LabView)
  •  Familiarity with PCB schematics, layouts, and characteristics
