Oracle Application Business Analyst  (Haifa, Israel)

Primary functions:

  • Perform production support activities for Oracle 11i application
    • Support users, help troubleshooting application issues and develop creative solutions to support Finance, HR, and business processes
    • Define functional requirements and develop functional design for custom modules
    • Perform systems analysis and set up configuration on the Oracle ERP application
    • Design and develop new interfaces and extensions for Oracle applications
  • Lead and actively participate in all phases of Oracle 11i applications cycle, including requirements gathering and analysis to functional and technical specifications, system design and development, testing and implementation
  • Develop strong partnerships to fully understand Finance and HR business processes analysis and solution design, and work with business users to identify issues/requirements and prepare recommended cost effective solution
  • Serve as a leader in project management process for application development (new modules) and projects upgrade including scope identification, project planning, and project status
  • Responsible for developing and adhering to project standards to ensure the delivery of quality deliverables
  • Support corporate application IT projects in the following relevant areas:
    • Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Costing)
    • HRMS (Core HR, Self Service HR)
    • Other Manufacturing modules (OSFM, INV, PO)
    • Oracle Discoverer
  • Responsible for the support of other systems (requisition system, Webtime, etc...)
  • Experience with analytical / business intelligence tools is a plus

Education and Experience:

  •  BSC in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field
  •  At least 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle 11i applications for Finance, HRMS (Self Service HR) as well as other Manufacturing modules (INV, PO, OSFM) and Oracle 11i table structures
  •  Experience facilitating resolution of Oracle application issues through the Oracle Service Requests (SRs) process
  •  Experience developing and maintaining Oracle SQL, Forms, Report, Oracle Discoverer, and Oracle Alerts
  •  Strong requirements analysis skills, with business knowledge in Oracle application modules
  •  Good command of written English with ability to develop clear technical documentation
  •  Experience in multi sites implementation
  •  Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
  •  Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems
  •  Ability to travel internationally
