Key areas of responsibilities:
This position will play a key role in the IT team and will be responsible for the analysis, design, modification, testing, and implementation of Oracle applications across major modules, including Finance, Manufacturing and Distribution, and HR. Responsibilities include:
Ongoing production support of Oracle application 11i (Focus on Manufacturing and Distribution modules).
Design and development of new interfaces and extensions in Oracle Applications.
Working with business users on requirements and preparing recommended cost effective solution.
Supporting users by troubleshooting application issues and developing creative solutions.
Defining functional/technical requirements for custom modules.
Writing technical documentation and specifications.
Developing custom reports, views, alerts, forms, and workflows.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field.
Minimum of eight or more years of experience in Oracle Applications implementation and production support. MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN ORACLE 11i INV, OSFM, PO, BOM, WIP, including Oracle 11i table structures.
Must have design experience with proven ability to develop new interfaces/extensions and data conversion in Oracle Applications.
Must be proficient at writing technical documentation and specifications.
Experience in facilitating resolution of issues through the Oracle Technical Assistant Requests (TAR) process
Experience with Oracle database and tools: Oracle 9i/10G, SQL Plus, PL/SQL, SQL Loader Reports/Forms 6i, Toad/SQL Navigator, Oracle Discoverer, and Unix OS.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of semiconductor industry business processes
Strong Communication skills. Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal day-to-day direction
Team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding knowledge in deadline-driven environment. Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel internationally
Experience in multi-site implementation
Knowledge in Self Service oracle apps is a plus.
Experience with analytical/business intelligence tools is a plus
