Post-silicon Validation and Embedded System Engineer

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Development, maintenance, and support of embedded systems software for system level validation, diagnostics and production testing
• Post-silicon validation including chip and system bring up
• More than half of this position time will be spent on validation, system bring up and debugging

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Up to 10 years minimum relevant experience, BSCS/EE or MSCS/EE (preferred)
• C language programming skill
• Strong SW and debugging skills
• Strong background in low level driver development in embedded environment
• Strong background in system level bring up and debugging
• Strong background in HW development, design and debugging and knowledge of HW debugging tools
• Extensive (minimum of 2 years) hands-on experience in RTL programming (Verilog) in FPGA environment
• Extensive (minimum of 5 years) hands on experience with lab equipment - Logic Analyzer and Scopes
• Hands on experience in a Chip Simulation Environment

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of digital and analog video formats
• Knowledge of HDMI, USB, SPI, I2C, UART
• Knowledge MIPS architecture and Green Hills development environment
