Sr. Licensing and Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities include:
- Review, tracking, and submittal of Quarterly license compliance reports to licensing companies and agencies.
- Includes tasks such as; maintaining log of Quarterly Reports submitted by Zoran & log of Reseller reports submitted to Zoran Corporation.
- Additional tracking related to Royalties for STB products and related compliance
- Monitoring & tracking Business Division process of royalty reporting, payment or IP payment
- Works closely with Business Division & Legal Department on compliance and contract requirements related to reporting, and compliance needs.
- Manages Audit requests and Audit process once requested by the Licensing Agency/Companies.
- Works closely with Sales Ops Mgr. for Audit Report Requests
- Organizing information from Sales Ops Mgr for use in Audit
- Manages for Sales Operations the process and administration of MDP & CDP (Marketing Development Program, Customer Development Program) which are Zoran formal proposals for rebates and other special agreements to support our customer needs.
- Works with Legal and Business Division to understand supplier agreements for Zoran products, and assist with the logistics between Sales, Legal, and Business Division related to business terms when necessary.
- Works with Business Division to monitor validity of our product designation in our Oracle System related to license requirements. So correct product lists for use by Zoran related to direct customers shipments and resellers so both are compliant. Lists are done monthly from Business Division, to enable License Compliance.
- Distributes the Business Division maintained Product License lists monthly to Resellers and Sales teams, to be used in compliance process
- Assist Sales Ops Director with Training and Processes related to licensing, supplier agreements and general processes to support our internal and external customers in the areas mentioned earlier.
Personal Skills:
This person needs to be both organized and have the ability to work well with different locations, cultures, around the world. This is not an administrative position with main task of creating reports. It needs a person that can create and organize good reporting tracking, but be very willing to attend meetings, and work in a very fluid environment that is evolving and needs to be analyzed and managed.Travel needs: Quarterly or bi- annual travel may be required internationally may be required for short duration.Other skills that would be a plus:
- Ability to help with very limited Customer Service assistance, working with Oracle System is a plus
- Working with QA department for questions related to quality related to supplier agreements is a plus
- Ability to understand products and has strong process skills.
- Speaking Mandarin Chinese
- Knowledge and experience in Semi-conductor industry is a must
Required Skills for Job, (Excel, Word, related systems etc)
- Working Knowledge of Oracle 11i ERP for Order Management
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power-point is required
- Knowledge of Semi-conductor
Education – BA or BS in Business, Finance or related field
Years Experience - 5 – 7 years
