| Key areas of responsibilities: |
- The Product Engineer will support a new IC project currently in the advanced design stage.
- The Product Engineer will begin involvement during early design stages, working as part of the project team addressing DFT and debug issues and looking for the best package and test strategies.
- Total product ownership of a complex IC product in the area digital consumer electronics.
- From low yield analysis and yield improvements, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the product ramp into manufacturing which including: new silicon debug, product qualification, characterization and yield analysis, test correlation between System and ATE evaluation results, maintaining production test program, test time reduction, FA and RMA support.
- Additional responsibilities will include working with the Test Development contractors to transfer new products to production, direct interaction with offshore foundry and test houses to ensure a smooth high volume production. Successful candidate will have good understanding and experience in using and modifying test programs for complex logic IC’s and will be familiar with ATE equipment and fixturing issues.

| Required Education, Experience, and Skills: |
- BS in electrical engineering (or equivalent) with five years of proven and relevant experience as a Sr. Product /Test Engineer in the Semiconductor Manufacturing environment.
- Specific experience in the area of semiconductor fabrication, IC design or test preferred
- Knowledge of both HP and Credence family of testers.
- Position requires travel across the Pacific Rim.
