Zoran’s SupraFRC^® 201 high performance display processor is a self contained Frame Rate Converter for flat panel TV applications. LCD technology magnifies motion blur and movie judder.

Zoran’s SupraFRC^® 201 processor is defined to seamlessly enable the use of high refresh rate panels in all TV designs and to deliver a noticeably higher image fidelity.

Zoran’s SupraFRC^® 201 processor leverages Zoran’s portfolio of breakthrough algorithms including the award-winning bandlet technology, delivering unprecedented image quality for any content type.

Zoran’s SupraFRC^® 201 processor performs advanced Frame Rate Conversion (FRC) and accurately creates missing intermediate frames from 24Hz film content and 50/60Hz video content to higher frame rates up to 100/120Hz. The patented breakthrough SupraFRC^® 201 Frame Rate Converter outperforms conventional Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) FRC algorithms while consuming less power, fitting in a smaller package and using less memory than what is used by most conventional technologies.
