The VBI Decoder Software Suite offers ready-to-use modules for VBI decoding, including Teletext, Closed Captions and WSS aimed both for PC applications and embedded systems.
 

Overview

The VBI Decoder Software Suite is an implementation of a VBI decoder and parsers that offers ready-to-use modules for the various VBI data formats. Each module is an independent unit that can either run alone or in conjunction with the other modules, depending on the system requirements. The modules, developed and written in C, are ready for integration both into PC applications and embedded consumer electronic devices. The VBI Decoder Suite was designed for maximum flexibility providing fine-tuning of many of the system variables. The VBI Decoder Software Suite comes with a Windows-based PC application that may be used as a reference example. The PC application can also be used to capture and playback VBI data using the Zoran VIPIII Demo System.
