Zoran Digital Signal Processors (DSP) based hardware solution has been applied over 10 millions of printers or All-in-one devices.

Reports To: Manager, Host Software Team

Primary Function:

Design, develop, and maintain printer driver and host software to support a variety of print drivers for various PDL’s.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing feature enhancements and bug fixes for all aspects of IPS DDK including User Interface, Localization, PDL Data generation, document transformations, etc.
  • Design, implement and debug new functionality for our IPS DDK print driver toolkit
  • Develop new software tests for the DDK drivers and debug complex software problems
  • Maintain multi platform source code, add new features and correct defects as required
  • Independently learn new software techniques and programming languages and apply them

Education and Experience Required:

  • BSEE/BSCS/MSEE/MSCS or related
  • Strong programming and design skills
  • Visual Studio, C / C++, Intel X86 Assembler, COM and ATL programming experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of graphics and image processing techniques and algorithms
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
