Zoran Announces HDTV Reference Design for European DVB-T Market at IBC

Highly Integrated SupraHD 660 Delivers Cost Optimized Solution for LCD and Plasma Televisions with HDMI and MHEG-5 Features

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Sept 7, 2006 - Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) announced it will demonstrate its SupraHD 660 reference design for television manufacturers at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) Sept 8 to 12 in Amsterdam.

The SupraHD 660 platform offers a complete DVB-T broadcast solution with HDMI and MHEG-5 flat-panel display support to qualified customers shipping products to Europe, including the UK.

The SupraHD 660 integrates all the necessary components required to replace existing multichip TV solutions. The SupraHD 660 supports full DVB-T and PAL decoding functionality required for digital and analog televisions as well as high quality video scalar capabilities. As the market becomes more cost sensitive and manufacturers look to move to a single solution, the SupraHD 660 platform available now provides the level of integration needed to function as the heart of multiple TV systems.
