TPV Expands ATSC DTV Product Line Offering for U.S.
Sunnyvale, Calif. -May 15, 2006 - Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) announced that its advanced Digital TV solution, SupraHD-660, will be used in the latest LCD TV product line from TPV Technology Limited (TPV). TPV is providing end-to-end solutions to well-known brands in the U.S. ATSC television market.
“We launched our first Plasma Display product with Zoran’s Generation 9 Elite processor last year, and are pleased to launch our LCD product line this year using Zoran’s SupraHD 660,” said Mr. Bernie Lu, senior vice president of TPV. “Both solutions also use Zoran’s Cascade 2 demodulator, which offers excellent ATSC and QAM demodulation performance. Working closely with the Zoran team, we were able to achieve timely deployment to the U.S. market”

The SupraHD 660 integrates all the necessary components required to replace existing multichip TV solutions. The SupraHD 660 supports full ATSC and NTSC functionality required for digital and analog televisions as well as high quality video scalar capabilities.
