Zoran Corporation, a leading semiconductor company specializing in system on chip (SoC) solutions for the consumer electronics market, has an immediate opening for a DTV Marketing Director for its Digital Television (DTV) business in its Home Entertainment (HE) division. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the DTV marketing, including day to day business operations such as pricing and gross margin management, product and roadmap planning, customer promotion and engagement. Person will manage a team of highly technical and domain expert marketing professionals.

Zoran is a leading supplier of semiconductors for digital flat panel televisions and commands market leading position in this dynamic and growing market. Success in this field requires understanding of the consumer electronics SoC trends and dynamics, quick execution, development of cutting edge technologies, excellent product planning and an ability to make sound and timely business decisions.

Detailed technical understanding of the SoC products in general and specifically the digital television systems including related hardware and software components is a requirement.

Applicants to this position should have the equivalent of a minimum of 10 years marketing experience, and 15 years of professional experience in total, in a semiconductor company, preferably in the DTV or related field. Candidates with prior engineering and product development experience will be given higher priority. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective people and teamwork skills, technical and business competence, as well as a goal orientated passion toward their work. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of results in prior work experiences. International business experience is a plus including language skill in Mandarin, Japanese and/or Korean. Ideally, the candidate will have at least a master’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA.
